1. Who is the Centering Corporation?
The Centering Corporation is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization dedicated to providing education on grief and loss for professionals and the families they serve. Centering Corporation was founded in 1977 by Joy and Dr. Marvin Johnson. When Joy and Marv started 31 years ago they developed nine little coloring books for hospitalized children and two workshop offerings for nurses and families. Over time, this evolved into what is now called Patient Education. Centering Corporation has done remarkably well in the industry, with now a compilation of over 500 resources for grief and loss including our own magazine Grief Digest. We continue to provide educational offerings, bookstores, and workshops for caregivers and families, with a heritage of becoming the largest provider of resources for Grief and Loss in the nation.
 
Centering offers a membership to those who wish to support children and adults during their grief journey. Your membership donation is tax-deductible and enables us to reach out to families seeking care and support. Look for our membership offerings in our web page.

2. How do I order?
You can order by phone at (866) 218-0101 or fax us an order at (402) 553-0507. We have a form on the Web that you can print with your printer and then fill out and fax it to us. Click here if you need more ordering information. Please feel free to give us a call if you can't find what you need.
 
3. Do you accept Non-US orders?
Yes.  At this time on US and Canada orders can be placed online.  If you are outside US/Canada you can still order!  Please click here for more information on how Non-US users can place orders.
 
4. What's this about a registered user? Can I still buy books if I am not registered?
Of course all are welcome to purchase books! We like to invite people to join us and become a Centering Corporation member/Grief Digest Subscriber. As a Grief Digest Subscriber/Centering Corporation member you will receive our quarterly magazine, a free copy of Six Simple Weeks by Eloise Cole and A Forever Angel by Elaine Stillwell. You will also receive a 10% discount on your orders while you subscribe to Grief Digest Magazine.
 
5.  What is your return policy?
We are certain that you will find our materials helpful. If you are not satisfied with our products send them back to us for a full refund on the price of the books. Please do so within 14 calendar days of the receipt of the product.
 
6. When I send my name and other information to you over the net do you ever sell it to others?
Absolutely not! We consider your privacy a top priority and do not sell, give away, or in any way distribute any information you supply to us. This is our promise. Breaking this promise would be a breach of our mission statement.
 
7. How do I submit my manuscript for publication consideration or for inclusion in our catalog?
Please enclose your contact information along with a copy of your manuscript or book (which will not be returned) to the following address:

It may take several months for your manuscript or book to be reviewed and for you to receive a reply.  Our catalog comes out once a year.  Books are considered for inclusion during the last quarter of the year.
 
8. When I Login it says my account doesn't exist?
